Big Data On The Way

By 2020, about 1.7 megabytes of new information will be created every second for every human being on the planet, according to the annual IDC Digital Universe study. At that point, the world will be looking at digital knowledge in the neighborhood of 44 zettabytes, or 44 trillion gigabytes, up from just 4.4 zettabytes today. (While the sheer scale of this expanding universe is impressive, it’s worth recalling that we sent astronauts to the moon and back using computers with only 2 kilobytes of RAM.)

Twitter DM: Make It Usable

Twitter’s Small Chance To Maim Email

There is one feature that would make me use Twitter's Direct Message service, the Twitter feature I ignore the most right now. It is that yes, it is good only people I follow should be able to DM me. But I want a feature where if someone sends me a DM I don't like, I can block them from DMing me in the future, but I don't have to stop following them on the public Twitter.

This is a small request to make. But I don't see Twitter acting on it.

Dilip, Amitabh, Shahrukh, Ranbir

I think Ranbir Kapoor is in a good position to claim the top spot in his generation, along the lines of Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, good thing for a Raj Kapoor scion.
